Tsunami Of Hate – It’s Only Fiction, I think
- On September 4, 2019
This book has taken me over two years and seven months to complete. The time taken to explore the world of fund managers and the intricacies of social media took far longer than expected.
The contributions of the pigs to the story needed no research, these details I was well aware of from looking after my two rare breed pigs for eleven years.
There was a slight personal setback because of some complications with my operation back in 2015. This was more a hiccup than a roadblock, but the body does take a lot longer to heal as you get older although the mind still seems to blow on regardless.
The book is about social media and the effect it can have on people both positive and negative. I, myself, have found it invaluable for research and it is a great outlet to display your books.
On the negative side there are the keyboard warriors who seem to spend most of their time trying to put a negative twist on anything that is positive, or that is attempting to be positive.
Social Media Is Here To Stay
Whether we like it or not social media is here to stay and will become even more prevalent as the next generation joins adulthood. They know no different, they need immediate communication with all aspects of life.
I seriously hope that the joy of reading a book does not disappear. It is worrying to think that all of this could be lost to a touch of a screen. It was not so long ago that personal cameras were a great Christmas present, now we all have them on our phone.
I hope you enjoy the read and just remember it is fiction. I think.
This will be my last work of fiction. In the future I intend to pursue my passionate ambition to find my older sister. I only found out about her presence on this mortal coil when my book Hallucinations Or Reality was published. That was four years ago.
When my auntie in Cornwall read the book she told my cousin that I had all the facts correct except I had not mentioned my older sister, who was about five years older than me.
‘A Great Shock’
This obviously came as a great shock to me and the rest of my remaining family. At sixty years of age I thought I was over the shockable stage but it appears not so. Another twist in life’s myriad of mystery.
I have recorded all the events of my childhood that I can remember. Again, I have an even larger group of researchers looking at all possibilities; public records both at Kew and Somerset House and visiting local parishes and councils that may have some details long forgotten.
The book will be called ‘My Two Sisters, A Trilogy of Living with Life and Death’.
Social media has already been a great asset in my research and I must say a big thank you to all my friends on Facebook who have provided me with such valuable information. Most of it not recorded anywhere but in people’s minds. Still the most powerful tool in the World.
Thank you to everyone in Llandaff and Whitchurch who have supplied all the details that avoided us reaching another dead end. I feel we are back on the main highway of information and things are becoming clearer.
I will ensure that everyone is kept up to date on developments as the story unfolds.
